EATONTOWN, N.J. August 2, 2004 - Initia Inc., (privately held), the worldwide leader in WAN Access Solutions, today announced the September release of NMC 11 console software to manage the AccessSwitch line of products.  

NMC 11 retains all of the features of the previous releases of NMC and includes the added benefits of Windows XP compatibility and standalone Alarm monitoring. The Alarm monitoring utility allows AccessSwitch managers to remotely monitor the alarm status of any AccessSwitch 60 or AccessSwitch 200 running AccessWare System software from any LAN connected PC.

NMC 11 is available as either an upgrade for existing NMC users or for purchase with new systems. Keydisks are required for additional systems to be managed with NMC 11.

Initia Inc announces new release of AccessWare System Software AW2004 for the AccessSwitch line of products.

EATONTOWN, N.J. August 2, 2004 - Initia Inc., (privately held), the worldwide leader in WAN Access Solutions, today announced the September release of AccessWare system software for the AccessSwitch line of products. AccessWare 2004 will enable AccessSwitch customers to access and troubleshoot both AccessSwitch 60 and 200 units over the LAN via a telnet connection.

Features users will now be able to access via the telnet connection are:
- Checking channel status
- Perform Q.931 and Q.921 traces
- Perform BONDING traces
- Reset individual interface cards or the entire system
- Check the status and configuration of individual interface cards

AccessWare 2004 is compatible with all AccessSwitch systems currently running AccessWare Release 17 or 2000. Systems running previous versions of AccessWare may require hardware upgrades.
